Korean Glazed Shrimp Skewers

Korean Glazed Shrimp Skewers

INGREDIENTS:

2 lbs. shrimp (tails on)
Cookies Korean Sauce
Limes or lemons
Honey (optional, for sweetener)
Skewers (flat skewers are ideal for shrimp so they don’t twin around the skewer)

DIRECTIONS:

Place 2 pounds of peeled and cleaned shrimp (tails still on) in mixing bowl and add Cookies Korean sauce to marinate the shrimp.

 

Add a healthy squeeze of lemon or lime juice to the marinade for additional flavor.You can also add 1-2 T. of honey if you want a sweeter flavor. Mix until shrimp is coated & marinate for 30 minutes up to 2 hours.

 

Thread shrimp on each soaked skewer.

 

Preheat grill to medium high heat, oil grates and grill marinated shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side or until opaque. The shrimp will cook quickly, so be sure to keep an eye on them so they don’t overcook.

 

Transfer skewers to a plate and serve immediately with lime or lemon wedges.

 

Optional: You can also substitute chicken for this recipe. We like to skewer veggies tossed in olive oil and Cookies Flavor Enhancer for grilling as well.
