4 hot dogs, approximately ¼ lb. each (small hot dogs don’t work as well)
4 strips Cheddar cheese ¼ inch wide (length of the hot dogs)
4 strips of bacon
4 hot dog buns
Cookies Flavor Enhancer and All Purpose Seasoning
Cookies BBQ sauce of your choosing
Season the strips of bacon lightly with Cookies Flavor Enhancer. Split hot dogs down the center, but do not cut clear thru. Open them up like a book and place strip of cheddar cheese down the center. Then wrap hot dogs with seasoned bacon and secure the end with a toothpick.
Put in smoker set at 300-325 degrees for about 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melting and bacon is cooked. Remove from smoker and remove toothpicks. Place in hot dog buns and top with your favorite Cookies BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
