3-4 lb. pork loin, sliced into 1″ slices
2 large onions, sliced
1 c. ginger ale
1 tsp. Cookies Flavor Enhancer & All Purpose Seasoning
1 – 18 oz. bottle Cookies Sweet Hickory BBQ Sauce & extra sauce for serving
Slice one onion and place in crock pot. Add the sliced loin, seasoned with Cookies Flavor Enhancer, and cover with the other sliced onion. Pour ginger ale over mixture. Cover and cook on low for approximately 8 hours.
Remove meat and strain, saving the onions but discarding all liquid. Using two forks, shred the meat. Return shredded meat and onions to crock pot and stir in the BBQ sauce. Continue to cook on low for another 2-4 hours.
Serve with hamburger buns or rolls and additional BBQ sauce. Leftovers freeze very well.
