12 to 17 lbs. beef rib roast – prime rib cut
3 T. Cookies Flavor Enhancer
3 T. granulated garlic
3 T. coarse black pepper
Trim off excess fat, but leave a minimum of ¼-inch. Season prime rib with Cookies Flavor Enhancer, garlic and black pepper. Preheat oven or smoker to 425 degrees. Put prime rib in pan in the oven or smoker at 425 degrees for 30 minutes, then turn temperature down to 325 degrees. Cook until the internal temperature is 120 to 125 degrees. Remove from oven or smoker and cover with foil. Let rest for 20-30 minutes before slicing and serving. Serve with horseradish sauce or sauce of your choice.
